I've
been developing a sourdough starter using seaweed.
I am now the proud owner of a seaweed
starter.I blame the biblical botanists, Dr Harold Moldenke and his wife Alma
for suggesting that dried seaweed was one of the three descriptions of manna
mentioned in the bible. I think that it's an original idea but who knows. I am delighted to report that the natural leaven not only works, but that it makes the most delicious sourdough bread. The best news is that I've managed to squeeze the recipe into Seaweed in the Kitchen
